Translink Corporate Finance acted as financial advisor to Visma, Europe's leading provider of mission-critical software for SMEs, in connection with the acquisition of Tek01 S.r.l., an Italian SaaS company best known for its FatturaElettronica APP (e-invoicing) and PECImprese (certified email) solutions.
Tek01 was founded in 2007 in Trieste by Sergio Portaluri and Matteo Palamà and today serves more than 124,000 freelancers, micro-businesses, and small and medium-sized enterprises with user-friendly solutions that simplify e-invoicing and compliance with certified email requirements. In 2025, the company processed more than 9.5 million invoices. In addition to its core offerings, Tek01 will launch an integrated payment service in 2026, enabling customers to receive and reconcile invoice payments directly within the platform. This will be complemented by a proprietary AI-powered accounting assistant, further strengthening Visma's position as a leading provider of AI-driven business software.
Visma is the market leader in Europe and Latin America for cloud-based and AI-powered software for accounting, ERP, payroll, HR, and invoicing. Through its ecosystem of more than 150 companies, the group served over 2.5 million customers in 2025.
With this acquisition, Tek01 becomes part of Visma's growing technology network in Italy, which already includes SaaS accounting provider Fiscozen (acquired in 2024) and compliance software provider Alavie (acquired in 2025). Together, these companies form a technology hub serving the Italian market—home to Europe's largest population of SMEs and self-employed professionals.
